On August 22, 2014, UIRVDA issued a $2,320,000 bond on behalf of Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois to construct a new facility in Crystal Lake, IL (McHenry County). The project will take place on an outlet on property next to a Walmart and will house a retail store and administer a LEt’s Go to Work program which provides individuals with significant employment barriers with a dedicated job coach to help them achieve dignity of work while learning valuable job skills. The total project is $3.1 million and will employ 41 full and part time workers.
