Project Overview
Gemini Acres, LP issued bonds to construct a new intermodal transportation exchange. The project included 28,00 feet of rail, the construction of a 300,000 square foot warehouse, boxing and bulk loading, a rail care wash, a 26,00square foot maintenance building, distribution facility equipment, etc on 65 acres in Grundy County in the village of Channahon, Illinois. The total project was $22.7 million and created 100 new jobs. Gemini Acres, LP is part of a group of family owned profit centers owned by James Bedeker. They include A&R Transportation, Inc. which provides bulk transportation to the petrochemical industry, A&R Packaging and Distribution Services, Inc which provides treasury management services, A&R Intermodal, Inc. which provides logistics and transportation services to major petrochemical industries and Frontier Logistics, Inc. which provides logistics services to Mexico and Latin America.
